No. This plugin is an extension specifically designed for MotoPress Hotel Booking (MPHB). It requires MPHB to be installed and activated on your WordPress site. Without MPHB, the plugin will not work.
Setup Intent saves a card for future use without holding funds (ideal for guarantees). Payment Intent is used to make an actual charge. This plugin uses Setup Intent for card registration, then Payment Intent when you decide to charge the guest.
No, never. All sensitive card data is handled directly by Stripe via their secure system (Stripe Elements). Only reference identifiers are stored on your WordPress site, not card numbers.
Yes! The plugin is distributed under GPL license, allowing you to use it on as many sites as you want, provided each site has MotoPress Hotel Booking and a Stripe account.
